One of the rarest cars priced in Cars That Matter is a one-year-only “special” built by Sterling Edwards of California. The 1954 Edwards was built to emulate the styling of European cars of the era. A handsome car, the Edwards was built with a fiberglass body and a Lincoln V8 motor, although some had Cadillac V8 motors. A cut Ford station wagon chassis was used for the backbone.
It is reported that only five or perhaps six cars were finished before production ceased.
